I think the Tower Grove wading pool is de...shhhhhh! I think the Tower Grove wading pool is definitely the best kept kid secret in the City. The other cool watery place in Forest Park: the little waterfall right next to Clayton Road under the highway 40 on ramp at Kingshighway.<BR/><BR/>I think the most important reason we stay in the City is because it's the only place in the region that is really walkable (depending on the neighborhood, of course ....) Our kids know that you don't have to get in the car to go everywhere. We walk to the library, the grocery store, the dry cleaners, the post office, the Art Museum ..... all places we'd have to drive if we lived pretty much anyplace else.<BR/><BR/>And for the price of our mortgage .... the only other place in the region we could live with schools as good as the ones our kids attend and similar or better proximity to the Husband's office is Meachem Park, in a much smaller house.
